Frankie Mae Reese, 85, passed away on November 8, 2010 at St. Dominc's Medical Center. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 13, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. , Mt. Elizabeth M.B. Church. Interment in Mt Elizabeth Church Cemetery in Bolton, MS.
Frankie M. Reese was born November 14, 1924 in Bolton, Mississippi, to the late Marshall and Ocey Richmond the last of six children. Frankie attended school at Mt. Zion, Bolton, Mississippi, where she received an eighth grade education. She enjoyed cooking, especially decorating cakes and making yeast rolls for family and friends. She worked 42 years for Morrison as a salad chef and supervisor.
She joined Mt. Elizabeth at an early age where she served as Sunday School teacher, trustee and on the mother board.
Frankie married Mitchart Reese in August 1952. she was the loving mother of four children: Precious (Bobby) Robinson, Jackson, MS; Glenn (Stephanie) Murray, Seattle, WA; Frances (B.J.) Williams, LaVernge, TN; and James Reese, Jackson, MS; a special nephew, Eddie Richmond, Chicago, IL; a special niece, Ocey Graves, Jackson, MS; 17 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
